[with a flash of impatience:] No, more like "Hey, I'm worried about you. Because you're my sister. I want to hear what's on your mind, can we talk. I want to listen."

[because you have your sibling, and some people...don't get to keep theirs.]

Because what I'm getting right now is that you don't, and I'd like to think that's not the whole story.

Guess what? It's not. And you're wrong and I do, but there's only so many times I can talk her down from a ledge she won't get off!

She doesn't want to talk about it. I've been trying to talk about it for five months, and it's a hot button every time! There is no listening. Not with this. I'm worried about every part of this!

I can feel what she's feeling, and what I want to do is try and send her some calm thoughts, but I don't have enough, because the urge to kill keeps slapping me in the face and then I have to start all over!!

[because that's how these things work. and if not? well...he at least has a hand out to Jinx if she'll want it. he can't say one way or another what's right about something he has barely a fraction of an understanding about, so he just has to trust his gut here.
