[yeah, he's probably already talked to vi about how all these winter holidays are baffling and he's tired of santa, both fictional and monster trench santa that's tried to kill him twice. #justtrenchthings
even so vi gets two packages from him sometime the last week of december. one is a very large box just full of junk. broken machines, metal bits, etc. 'jinx' is written on the side.
the other is an odd little metal disc with a paleblood gem smack in the middle. hextech baby. or bloodstone tech. it's about the size of her palm with a note attached that reads:
Vi,
I hope you don't terribly mind that I leave the gift for Jinx with you. I have no idea where she lives and you seem like a safe bet for someone she'll visit often. Just scrap, hopefully to be used for less destructive things than she may be inclined.
For you is something I've been working on for some time. There's a switch at the side you'll see, when triggered it will take about fifteen seconds before creating a field of influence in a small bubble, a few feet around the center. That field should send most things within it to sleep, even beasts. At the very least it would slow them down. It can be shut off by disturbing the outer shell of the field with blood, merely a drop will do.
I am aware punching things is your typical way of handling situations, but I'd like to know you have methods to help you escape if that does not work out. There is no one else I would rather have this, in truth.
