❥ Character Information
Character Name: Vi(olet)
Character Age: Around 22 (if counting Deer Country time passing, around 21 in canon)
Character Species: Sleeper Human (with some Vileblood abilities from Deer Country)
Current Health: Fantastic
Outfit: Her black hunting leathers from Trench and hover/blade boots, minus the gauntlets.
Character Canon: Arcane
Link to History: here & here & some details on her time in Stillwater prison (Screenshots of her records here.)
Canon Point: End of season 1.
Canon Iteration: CRAU from her year in Deer Country.
Canon Iteration Explanation: Vi's time in Deer Country helped her gain a better perspective of her own responsibility (and also that it wasn't entirely her fault) in the creation of Jinx. She gained a lot of closure in that relationship and worked towards accepting her sister for who she was now, Jinx, not Powder. She was able to earn back her sister's trust as much as she could, and be a better protector, learning to keep her volatile emotions more in check, though she did have some hiccups with this. Vi was able to take on a few leadership roles and serve the community as a protector, mentor, and provider, exploring a few ways to make a living, as well. She found hew crew, and integrated many people into her life as found family, and she also became a total horsegirl.
Closure with Jinx, truce with Silco, learned skills, took on responsibilities more of a authority, fed the docks, found a part in the community, etc. Learned to cook, bake a little, karate, chakra stuff, patrol, exposed to media and a wide range of people, helped with Sanctuary and took classes.

Canon Abilities: She's very strong, and a scrappy, skilled brawler (even at 14-15) with some amazing parkour moves, but it’s not presented as a supernatural power. (It is mentioned in the Council Archives that she tattooed herself, and since she has a whole back piece that might be ambidexterity + a superpower ...how else would she manage to reach the middle of her back? <--JOKING BUT ALSO NOT JOKING.)
CRAU Abilities: Her Sleeper-derived vileblood manifested in Deer Country in a few ways. The Sleep aspect gives her enhanced stamina, sleep-healing, enhanced durability, and she can shed more blood than usual. She also has a resistance to common diseases/illness. This blood also allows her to summon an Omen, a an animal companion made of blood magic. Her Omen was Fang, a snarky wolfdog/dogwolf who liked to GET VERY BIG and give rides and also to troll people on the network. And fight monsters! Fang acted as a voice of reason, and as an Omen was able to act as a communication device (and a nightlight!) in emergencies.
With her Vileblood, Vi's already high pain threshold became even higher, at first subtly, growing over time. It resulted in a "reservoir pool" to pull from. She can fight normally for a long time, but should she choose to dip into this limited reserve, she might be able to do something amazing, like punch through something she can't usually punch through, or send someone flying much farther than she intended. However! The more she does this, the longer she sustains it and the bigger the feat, the more she will be drained and unable to function normally without a proportionate rest or some sort of intervention. Her greenish blood with flecks of red, smelled like flowers and could be used as a poison. It has the power to kill if ingested, can coat weapons, and can be used as a numbing agent on unbroken skin. Or, if she spits blood in someone's eyes during a fight - it's poison blood! (Hey, it could happen.)
Role: Legend.
Role Qualities/Attributes: Her hands will manifest halos, light shields if you will. She will also be granted wings, but they will be made of metal and light.
Role Reasoning: Vi went through a lot of self reckoning and darkness in Trench, nearly succumbing to corruption a few times only to be pulled back due to trying to help others, most often Jinx, but it was always someone else's pain that forced her back over the edge, even when she thought she was too far gone. She is glib and 'easy' with words, but she held a lot of self doubt and salf-loathing that she was able to slowly turn around and fully begin to lean into the kind of protector she always wanted to be instead of the ne'er do well fuckup criminal she sometimes portrayed. She took vows to become Sansa Stark's sworn shield (and sister).
❥ Personality
Option 1.
Vi is brave. She repeatedly steps up to defend her crew both in canon and in Trench, always willing to go the distance, even if it's kind of a stupid idea or puts her at risk. She's not always down with what risk really looks like and can be a 'never tell me the odds' kind of person. Vi is that person that brings fists to a knife-fight. It's just who she is.
Sometimes Vi doesn't know when to just leave things alone and butt out. She's still learning that she cannot solve everything with her fists, and that sometimes all she can do is be there and listen. That's been a hard lesson, but she's learned to lean into it, even when it's truly horrifying, like being barely able to soothe Jinx's episodes, and talking her sister through flashbacks she herself partially caused.
She's self-sacrificing. She sends the message to Grayson and is fully willing to turn herself in for an unspecified amount of jail time, to protect The Lanes. She understands the balance that Vander had struck - the fragile peace. No one asks this of her, and she goes about it silently and deliberately, making sure to say her goodbyes without triggering any sort of alarms. She's still this person in Trench, when she's in she's ALL IN no matter what.
This makes her a good leader at most times. But she can be so reckless. She punched a nightmare steed in Trench to try and win its approval, and though that eventually happened, she nearly got her friend Manabu killed. (She will forever be that girl that punched a horse about it, and it had been a terrible idea.) Though this pales in the wake of what she considers her worst idea - leaving Powder behind when going to rescue Vander, and not staying her hand - that slap to her sister and the words that came after are highest on her lists of regrets - it's the only thing she'd change if she could, though ...after spending so much time with Jinx in Trench, she's not quite as 100% on that, either.
Vi is full of compassion, even if her mouth says otherwise (or her fists) - she re-learned this in Trench as she rode out her sister's journey, and in some ways, her own. She was willing to make an uneasy truce with Silco if it meant Jinx having a better chance at stability, even though that was the last thing she thought she'd ever do. After years in a shithole of a prison, Vi still has managed to not lose her humanity; and after countless things in Trench, she still held onto it there, never fully succumbing to Beasthood, however near of tempting.
Vi is loyal to a fault and will keep her word even if she has to choke bitterly on it. If she's on your side, she's ride or die.
Is she adventurous? Absolutely, but she is also reckless. One could argue that acting on Little Man/Ekko's tip and keeping it from Vander, she set into motion the whole of a very terrible series of events.
Later, she gives Cait the slip and goes in fists blazing, which feels great until getting a knife in the gut. That impulsiveness and hot headedness might have cost her her life if not for Caitlyn's intervention. She kicks in a door instead of waiting on Mylo to pick the lock. Not the best decision when they're trying to rob a "Piltover palace" undetected.
Vi's temper also changed Powder’s life when she struck her and called her a "jinx". Her walking away to calm down was the right decision, but the wrong moment: this would be the last time she would see Powder until the timeskip.
Her temper is something she learned to better control in Trench, after a corruption fueled experience where she beat two Trenchies and nearly killed one - it was what kickstarted her volunteering in the Infirmary, even though one of the Trenchies never did forgive her - she learned to accept that. Chakra control at Sasuke's school and meditation helped with this, but she's still actively working on this. Patrolling and fighting beasts/being a Hunter was also a great channel for her inner anger. This anger will likely rise again at times since she is without her sister again.
She's naturally stubborn, but has learned to make some small compromise here, especially when it came to her sister - this is one time she was willing to let a grudge slip, even if that grudge was the worst of the worst, and had been her driving force for years.
Vi is much less emotionally guarded than she was when she arrived in Trench, and she is less distrustful of 'fancy' people.
